Getting your puppy home safely
The ranch is in Florida. My dogs are everywhere. Here's how a puppy gets to you safely.
Travel day
- Pick up at the ranch in De Leon Springs, or have your puppy delivered across the US or internationally.
- Travel stress and heat are the big risks for any puppy in transit. Keeping him cool comes before everything, even water.
- Ask your breeder exactly how the puppy travels and who is with him.
The first week
- Keep him clean, and check the poop.
- Feed on a steady schedule. Watch for bloat signs after meals.
- Keep your breeder's number handy. You should still have it years from now.
