Episode 10 - Flying with DaBestBulls, Dog / Puppy delivery on the Plane

Hi my name is Jason Soares and welcome to the DaBestBulls Ranch and today I'm going to introduce our micro English bulldog stud Mr President and go into full detail and do a proper introduction of him and then on top of that we're going to go over puppy delivery and flying with a puppy all the details and tips and tricks and things that we do when we're traveling with a dog on a plane and then lastly but not least we're gonna go over our progress of our facility paying the facility the new cedar stuff we've done and then the stuff that's coming in the future as.

Hi my name is Jason Soares and welcome to the DaBestBulls Ranch so I know we've showed you a lot of our dogs but we really haven't done a formal introduction of our micro English bulldog Mr President he's our smallest male to date super tiny 10.6 inches tall at the shoulder and he's 27 pounds and tiny um he's actually honestly one of my favorite dogs he just has the very funny personality very like little man syndrome and he's just the cutest sweetest funniest thing president being a micro English bulldog he is a true 10.6 inches tall now the way you measure a dog in the way AKC measures and standard measuring dog is is from the front leg to the highest point in the back.

Shoulders so he's 10.6 inches right here and 27 pounds he's tiny now something that is very important with the minion micro bulldogs is that to when you do the minion micro you want to keep you want to keep all the other you know aspects the you know the thick bone the head the rope all those you know kind of cool things um but you want to shrink it down a lot of times there's a big misconception people like oh I have a mini or micro bulldog that's 22 pounds but it's very thin boned it looks probably almost like you know a boston terrier which is not a bulldog um so it that's that's the that's the sweet science behind it is being trying to be.

Able to bring them down size but keep that big bone factor like Mr President you know he has the rope he has the head he has a structure he's a you know one thousand percent in English bulldog and you can see that looking at him from a mile away he runs he jumps he plays he breathes great he's and he's a very sweet boy he's an awesome bet so this boy right here legit smaller than 99 frenchies and when I say smaller I mean in height and length wise a lot of frenzies will be about a little taller a little longer.

Weight wise he's on the higher end of the spectrum usually frenchies are under 30 pounds like he is but but um he's smaller than most than most of he's just a thicker version but he's he's absolutely gorgeous and there's you can see that he's a true micro that's a big thing too that a lot of people say they have minion micro blogs they use it as like a marketing but they don't really have true micro like this is very very rare to ever see true michaels and that's why people come to me when they want to true mini or micros you know that you know that I have them you know that you know that we produce them we have them this is our boy.

Mr President we shot Mr President puppy soon too but I love his little natural stance his little his little bowed up stance all that stuff his little things on his legs too I don't know he's gotta fix those things but he's just awesome okay look at look at his back you come behind me over me right here and then go right over my back outside yeah and look at he has just great.

Great nice short back um really no real flaws he's just awesome awesome frenchy looking English he's so tiny look at my tiny boy right present and he is one of our top studs cousin come on let's go my my doesn't really care for him that much but yeah you see the difference the big difference.

And everything he comes from the very good bloodline he has like the the who's who and his pedigree and that is a very beneficial thing as far as you know using him as a stud because now not only is he very good looking not his dad is very good looking his mom is very good looking on his dad's side it's you know lots of california chrome shrinkables all that stuff on his mom's side it's a very good mini bulldog line from the uk so probably one of our most stacked pedigrees and then because of that you're going to get a very consistent um puppies from him bringing him to you know to the proper dog not even proper the dog but you know you're.

Going to get consistency from him because he has such consistency in his blood he's not he's not a fluke you know his dad's small his mom's small grandpa small those small so he throws small and then he has you know the really the really cool characteristics as well so a little bit about Mr President's stud information so he is used and has been used all over the world especially all over the the country um and uh he's a very good stud he has lots of lots of letters he has amazing semen quality so I know this is really weird to talk about but um his semen account was very good and um so basically if you don't know about the study game or you're you.

Know you know obviously you're not new to this um what it is is that people that want to use him and use Mr President as as their you know their baby daddy uh to their to their puppies um they will absolutely use them and Mr President has 3 500 to use as a stud he's 500 to lock in if you don't have them locked in those 500 lock them in and then 3k at do a time of reading if you don't have them locked in at least a month in advance he's 4k now the way it works is we do live readings that's a good thing about us is that we always allow people to come to us and do live readings and we have.

So the traveling with a with a dog with a puppy in our case we travel with puppies a lot um there's lots of rules lots of tips that I would like to go over because they are very important and we have traveled when I say we either meet or a family member of mine has to our friend of mine has traveled with the dogs all over now we go everywhere to um deliver dogs um la vegas canada um uk everywhere so there's a lot of little things that help you and you need you to know is I that's a very common question I get too if people ask me oh can you travel with a puppy can you travel with a dog and um pre-covered.

And postcode there's different rules we travel the puppies and it's a very stressful time you have to be very careful when you travel with a dog because um there's lots of you know little things that could happen um but it's also a fun time too and you just have to be prepared for a lot of things so now I'm gonna take you on our journey with the with uh with our puppy and we're taking him to la and I'm gonna show you uh how the journey went so stay tuned and check out what we're about to do.

We're gonna take the dog out and we're gonna go in we're gonna go to to um we have to always go to baggage check the dog in regardless if you're checking the bag or not not we have to always go to the bag checking to check the dog in regardless if you're going to check a bag or not you have to go to the baggage check to pay the puppy fee now depending on your flight or your your airline is going to be normally between 100 and 125 dollars you can also call before some airlines that you call before and pay and reserve to have your dog on there as well is on on the list and so you have to do this so we.

Pay the puppy fee we have to go through security now I didn't get to show you but in security you have to take the puppy out and walk through and that's a little ordeal now as you can you get crazy amount of tension with a with a puppy I like to keep the vent open on the top so obviously the puppy's gonna have his head out and he's gonna be able to see around and that's gonna make him more comfortable but on top of that it makes it so everyone sees him my only rule is if I saw a dog around or someone that had a dog I would not let them pet my puppy because it's a puppy he doesn't have his full set.

Of vaccinations he's not completely immune and I would get scared of catching some kind of bees now I always use the in the airlines to um clean the dog I take I take him in here and I and I clean him um if he peed and then on top of that before I drop him off I take him in the bathroom to clean him as well because with a puppy you're almost guaranteed they're gonna pee um in their crate so I just like to wipe them off and clean them in the bathroom as well now here we're on the flight as you can see I have him I have the the vent open he's such a good boy behaving really really well obviously I have.

To reach out and pet him once in a while just to make sure he stays calm and stuff but he's been very very very good now something you're not allowed to do but I do and you can see is you're not allowed to take the dog out but I like to take him out and put in my lap and get pictures and videos of you know him on my lap and scenery and usually they're very cool about it and if they see you they'll just tell them to put them back down but normally you have to keep the dog in in their little in their little carry-on now me personally I like to meet the at the baggage claim that's where I do what we.

Do our deliveries to so right here I'm walking through the um the baggage claim and I told mario mario is the the new owner of this boy the new lucky you like him I tell you he's really nice like I like I can see like how he look like how he looks and based on like what he is and his dad he has the exact same head as his dad he has that huge Escobar Fury head and that's what I know you like the the.

What are you gonna name him I think norman norman that's a cute name it is 2 18. Um it was a total of a little over a 23 hour trip to seattle drop off the puppy I just got home and um first thing of course check out the dogs so I'm going out to the best bulls facility we're gonna check out the dog you know first thing lion business 23 hour day grind don't stop.

Stuff needs be to done let's get to work going here everyone good all right cool so everything is going it's good here all right so that's what's going on right there now um yeah so got home I checked it over the facility everyone's doing great.

We're looking great to be done shortly um now so drop the dog so mario actually used to be a friendshiper used to show standard frenchies a while ago he's retired now because he wanted a super high quality dog from uh from us structure wise and honestly yeah we've been working with him for actually the past six months he's been he's been locked in for six months now and um and we found the perfect one and when I found what I mean found them meaning like you know the puppy's born hey marta this is the dog for you he trusted me and he loved the dog it was a surprise for his wife and he's really happy but yeah long story short I'm still pumped up.

20 through over 23 hours of traveling um I left here yesterday at 3 a.m and it's I'm getting back today now 2 am so almost a full 24 hours later probably got there safe customer is happy and um dogs are all good at the DaBestBulls Ranch and it is awesome so stay tuned for more I hope you liked watching me deliver the dog and learn some stuff on how to travel the dog and um thank you so much and hope everyone has a great day great night great morning whatever time it is that you're watching this but uh keep the ground going when I go with the dog one I have the carry case I have paper towel slash puppy tap pads I have.

Gloves at least one set but probably two sets I have wet naps and I have a ziploc bag and I have a plastic bag and I have bowl a bowl so that's seven things and I like to have a checklist you're gonna see you need a checklist because when I go on my journey I even forget a couple things and for the checklist make sure you go down below and click in the description and I have the full the best bulls checklist for flying with the with a dog on on a flight below for you so you can make sure you can go through check everything off and you don't forget with the carry case obviously my rules are on the carriers I like it.

To be a malleable kind of semi-rigid carry case not completely rigid because then you don't have the ability to stuff it into places if you need to or form into things now a lot of airlines too they have rules uh can't beat over this way it can't be over you know this height whatever the main main rule though is that the dog has to fit underneath the front seat at your feet that seat in front of you at your feet and technically according to all the rules of these airlines the dog has to be zipped up and completely in there the whole time I don't follow those rules you can see um in my journey and most of the time they're really cool with it.

Obviously the dog can't be like seeing your lap and stuff a lot of times they're going to be very sick of that but I like to keep the dog I like it it opens as I can see it also allows air flow in there more even though we have these mesh sides on the um carrying case that mesh still restricts heat from going in in and out so out and it restricts still a little bit airflow it's not you know obviously completely open so opening up the top allows a lot more airflow allows heat to come out and doesn't allow the overheating and when we're talking about English bulldog French bulldog and the bully breeds they overheat extremely easy one because of just straight heat.

And two especially with a puppy or a dog that's never been on the plane they're gonna they're gonna naturally get anxiety and that's gonna cause them to overheat as well so you have those two factors working against you so you want to make sure you have a very vented doggie case as well and then on top of that I like to keep it open in there also a lot of airlines say they don't like the um the bulldogs the pugs the sort of the poor breathing kind of dogs and they say they're not allowed but I've never ever had anyone um tell me I can't bring it on it's just that's a that's a probably a liability reason that they say that is for liability.

Reasons is if you know you bring English blog up there and they they die they're not gonna be liable for it and they you know they shouldn't but I've never had any problems at all um taking the dog up there now there are some key things you want to make you want to watch out for and there's a lot of little things that I use for prepare so for the for the other things on the list okay the gloves the gloves is like a black belt tip like and then I'm from the mma world and like when you when you get taught like some tip that only like it's a very high high quality tip that like a black belt will know because they've been.

Doing this for 10 years and it's just very makes things a lot easier this is the black belt my black belt tip for you are the gloves and I because I've been traveling with dogs a lot of times so I bring like surgical gloves I bring two pairs and that because.

The god forbid you have a dog that poops in their in their thing you have to clean that thing out and sometimes you're sitting on a plane 30 000 feet in the air and you have to clean that out so you put the gloves on and now your hands aren't gonna get just poop on them because when you reach in there they're gonna be poop everywhere so I I wear gloves and then you know obviously we take a dog out we clean that's now where the paper towels come in so I line the bottom of paper towels so for example if the dog did peer poop in there it should be easiest to take them out and then just you know switch but if not.

Two I also have more paper towels to wipe the stuff down I have the wet naps to wipe this this stuff down and the dog down so I I sort of have my own little like cleaning kit so I have my gloves I have my paper towels for lining the bottom or you know paper towel slash puppy pads for lining the bottom and cleaning up the dog and I have my wet naps for doing the cleaning the dog and the inside if it needs cleaning and on top of that I have plastic bags I bring one or two like it's kind of like you know the grocery bags where that's where I put you know the garbage in I tie it tight so now if.

I was on the plane again I could you know tell the stores hey here's a plastic bag and get rid of the smell and all that stuff because I believe it or not I have had this you know the poop instead happen the other black belt tip I have is the ziploc bags now the ziploc bags are gonna one you can also use that too as your plastic bags to stuff stuff in and close it so it's airtight if you wanna bring the big ones and two you're gonna bring big or small ones the ziploc bags are gonna be amazing to keep the dogs cool and you ask me why it's like so the way you keep them cool is if we are in a.

With a dog that's high-stressed um or very overheating a lot we use about bags to put ice in and then we put the ziploc bag in the carry-on so one the dog can feel the ice on them and two that's gonna release cold air and um keep the environment they're in a lot cooler and we can do this by one before I get on the plane I can I can fill up ice bags at like you know like a little one of the bars before you get on the plane or two I can ask the stewardess hey bring me some ice and I can put it in in the uh in the ice bags and I've actually used it before because I've been.

On a hot plane before sometimes you get unlucky and get on one of those hot planes the atheist bad or whatever and you need this so now you have ice packs and you put them in there and it keeps the dog cool so this is like serious black belt tip and then last which I forgot on on the plane is a bowl and on the plane I asked the stewardess for a couple hour and I used the plastic of water but I recommend bringing a little bowl for water now I don't recommend giving the dog lots of water but of course dog gets a little thirsty or it's overheating a little bit I'll give it some water because I don't want that dog to pee.

A lot obviously now other tips and this is a fine line food and water now with dogs and puppies I like this I like to stop feeding them food and water at least 10 hours before flight um and I don't want to be too much but some people do it like even further out and I think that's cool because especially water like goggles dehydrated that's very dangerous um but food 100 10 hours before the flight and that's gonna allow them to not you know pee and poop as much on the plane um also I like to make sure I let the dog run around and out before I leave and you know like have fun like that because that's going to stimulate the pee and.

Pooping even more and then we got up on we go to the airport we want a plane uh we can deal with being pooping now with the DaBestBulls Ranch facility we are always making progress you already know that now we've gotten a bunch of things done and a lot of little things but the main things we got done since last time is we had the building painted we went with the satin black and the um the flat white on the building I like it a lot more than the red um and we're doing that and then we still have logos coming where all the white is we're gonna do big to DaBestBulls Ranch logos and Escobar logos and stuff like that so that's.

Gonna be really cool and we're gonna make the chicken coop the building and the house all the black and white kind of trim all that stuff so it's gonna look super nice when everything's the same and matching and the facilities done but getting the building painted and that obnoxious red barn kind of look to me had to be taken off we had to go with our more modern look but.

We have the cedar doors that we got as more seer doors came and we installed them we are almost done we have I believe we have five more or three more doors that need to be need to be made and five more doors totally need be to installed and all the doors are done.

With the cedar inside we did the cedar backdrop and we're going to see your backdrop behind all the pens and this was this was definitely a ton of work um not really a functional reason for it more aesthetics but you know adds the look and you know shows shows how serious we are about making this place you know the best facility the best philly facility in the world um so we had to cut all the boards um into about five foot lengths a half inch thick and um and then we're just piecing them up there so like a puzzle and we're doing live edge pieces not live edge pieces um I had to paint the whole back black before if you did all this.

So all the live edge edges will show that black outlet sort just of like the doors and um we we attached it with glue and staples we attached the the forge of glue and staples and then after I was done I realized it has to be glossy like the rest of the every all the cedar like the doors and stuff and like the dividers will be so we had to paint and painting was what was definitely not fun took a long time but we got that done and as a whole I really like how it looks I absolutely in love with them we got the cedar this custom sear epoxy doors kilo please no more black right here epoxy so it does you know.

It won't won't it's waterproof this all is waterproof so I can come in here with a hose and spray everything out so that's why we did the epoxy that has functional use as well too the walls will be done shortly I think they've probably done this week um or get them done with it with an epoxy like.

We got the cedar backdrop we were painting this here we had to seal it with this um with this polyurethane sealer and it took forever to seal and we did like it's pretty cool obviously you can see but we have like the cedar with the black on the live edge just just like our doors um custom cedar framing for the outlets so one I like not to toot my own horn but one of the hardest things and something I've been very good at is being able to plan ahead because we're building this structure obviously it's long term we're doing everything properly and trying to and trying to plan ahead so we actually install these junction boxes and they're done properly to code with them up.

There they're not wired up yet the electrician hasn't finished but these junction boxes are now going to give us the ability electricity to run anything we need they're gonna have covers on them as well but it's gonna be for the future so if I wanna do my electric doggy doors or or any lighting or anything like that it's gonna make it so now don't I have to break down the wall and go behind or have cords hanging around so it's just just we have a junction box and.

We're just doing everything to the best we can and making sure we're playing the future so everything lasts and you know we're not doing stuff to last for one year or doing stuff so it it needs to be redone we're doing it right the first time you know and if it's not right done the first time it takes a lot more effort and work so we're doing that so that was awesome and then next we have the floors we have the doggy door insert middle frames we have a lot of things coming so make sure you stay tuned if you ever have any questions concerns about what I'm doing why I'm doing this how I got this what material I got you can always message.

Now the best bulls chicken coop we're slow stepping a lot in there we still have to paint the the building and do all the landscaping but it is a functional building now we have nine they're called easter eggers I think nine easter eggers in there and uh they're like little chicklings that's exactly the exact terms if you guys are knowing the term of what these guys look like right here make sure you comment below and tell me the term I forget what the term is of this stage of the of the um of the chicken but these are easter eggers and they're very good egg layers um they're pretty and we're also adding uh ten more um rhode island reds they're very you know nice.

And they're coming but we're getting from a specific breeder that's supposed to breed like the top quality ones we're doing everything the best like we always do and they won't be here for like I think another month and then we're getting uh they're called like leg horns I think leg horns are like protectors and stuff so we have a total we're gonna have about a total of 22 to start with and see how that works out right now but we have these nine in here they're doing well in about I think about three or four months they'll be old enough that they start laying eggs so then we'll be seriously operational where we now have eggs for ourselves and for the dogs so the dogs.

Get their their fresh eggs every day welcome to the DaBestBulls Ranch chicken coop um like I said we still have to paint the building we've been slacking we have landscaping dudes but we do get flat we did get flowers up we have the retainer wall is going to go with a garden in the front there are all kinds of things that still have to go um and we're going to get it done shortly.

Let's go in the coop we have our easter you guys can see come in and then we have baby leah and my fiance sarah here they're just chilling so I'm not the the let me close this door real quick homer so I am not.

The take the caretaker of these chickens this is for my daughter and my fiance do sarah is the boss of these ones so if you guys have any questions you comment below and I'll have sarah answer them about them but yeah these are easter eggers can you get one please.

Can I catch one of them catch one I'll try to catch them right now yeah record me kevin wow I want to hurt them oh my god I know that I don't want to hurt them I got it my easter egger I go from bulldog guy to chicken guy look at it come.

On the uh you want your chicken things are strong so this is a chicken coop hopefully we'll have eggs and this thing will be will be operational in the coming months but um it's the first batch like I said we have the leg horns and the rod and reds coming.

So the progression of sushi and taki they are now three months old a little bit over three months old um now they're both progressing a little differently and it doesn't mean that one's going to be better or worse than the other one at this stage it just the dogs develop differently now sushi obviously is you know set for stardom she's just on an insane track so it's very hard to compare her to anything they're both from the same mom and dad sushi and Escobar sushi if I in my opinion is definitely leading the way smaller thicker better head better rope everything and a female for that um taki is is a little lengthier now um I like to see his head get bigger and his.

Rope pop now um we're hoping that happens maybe it doesn't fully happen but like I said they develop differently sometimes they really like really pop like at six months or a year or whatever so we're gonna see I can almost guarantee he's gonna be an amazing looking boy I don't think as good as sushi that's obviously my bets and pretty much everyone else's bets but we're gonna see like sushi is amazing.

And um they're going really well they have thick I mean you can I like showing all her destruction everything her nice stance thought he's just being crazy right now let's put him over here and yeah sushi's just awesome um and still very small taki is a lot bigger than her but he's a male and um nice bone but like I said I want his head and his rope to get bigger that's that's his biggest flaw right now taki calm down please.

But they're brother and sister and it's gonna be a fun progress we're I mean we're gonna watch them until they're two years old that's when they're fully done and developed and we're gonna see how they look and what they become and we're gonna compare you know obviously now until later so it'd be a fun progression both super nice so she's more of my baby I love taki too but but um let's just get this stuff on your nose.

We're gonna bet obviously put in the comments below let me know which one you think which one's your favorite what your what your predictions are like my predictions again I always like to say it so we can go backtrack I think she's gonna be around ten inches ninety ten inches tall thirty pounds twenty five thirty pounds probably the best mini microwavish blog in the world I think this boy is gonna um probably around 11 and a half 12 inches tall.
