Ep 23 - Famous Mini Bulldog Stud King Escobar, Puppies and Puppy Development

Hi my name is Jason sores and welcome to the DaBestBulls Ranch this is our king Escobar son check him out today we're going to go over a bunch of stuff at the same time teaching you you know valuable knowledge with the bulldogs and mini bulldogs but we're going to over to puppies the progression of the puppies showing a two two we old puppy uh four we old puppy 7 we old puppy you get to see them grow into an actual bulldog we're going to show you a nice little highlight of Escobar showing what he likes what he doesn't like how he is what kind of dog he is and then we're going to show you a lot more in just the day today life.

Of best bus ranch make sure you stay tuned so my main thing I was going to go over and this it's it's a cool time to do it I have the puppies and um just to talk about how hard raising puppies is is and a lot of people understand um how hard it is and it's just like you know like kids like you don't understand how hard raising a kid is and how much work and time and effort takes until you do it now I'm I'm making I'm just stimulating the puppy now a lot of people are going to ask why is does the mom not have these puppies and I'll go over that in a second I'm stimulating I'm rubbing the belly rub the.

Butt everything so the reason the mom doesn't have this p these puppies is cloud's um body reject them cloud stop stop producing milk at about 10 days um after she had them and people like well you can give her stuff look at listen just like just like humans just like.

Humans that's good um how some moms want to ra want want to nurse their you know breastfeed and they can't because they stop producing they try everything and it doesn't work the same thing with the bulldogs I've tried I mean sometimes you can do stuff like you can give them oxytocin shots which we do you can make sure you feed them really good which we do you make sure they're happy which they do but sometimes their body will just stop producing milk could be stress could be sickness could be all kinds of things in cloud's case it was not sickness it was not food related or nutrition related it was just strictly sorry baby it was um just strictly uh stress and she just.

Stopped producing milk so because of that and she wasn't even being a good mom anyway so I think she was like sort of rejecting them and the reason that they they reject them is you have to think as a as a dog a bulldog you go from h being pregnant to waking up an hour later with puppies by you or next to you or not even on you and you're like confused on what's going on so a lot of times and that doesn't release the certain hormones that they need to be released so a lot of times it's hard to get bulldogs to take to their young because it's by C-section I know some people like well why you do C-section a lot safer just.

Like how it's a 21st century and a lot of humans do C-section doesn't mean that we shouldn't have our our kids but we just do c-x you know so that but so that being said they reject the puppies a lot and the first couple weeks you don't even keep the the the puppies with the mom until it's feeding time cuz the mom can crush them can hurt them all kinds of things can happen so then 10 days later cloud stops and that's so I still have to wake up every every 2 to three hours then put them on mom make sure mom stays laying down make sure mom doesn't step on them all that stuff then 10 days later mom stops producing milk and you.

Ask me how do I know she stopped producing milk the the her nipples were not not there was nothing in her nipples you could squeeze them almost nothing would come out the puppies couldn't get full and um so I had to supplement them so I'm feeding them goats milk espac it's a powder you can get on on amazon and uh that's why I'm feeding the puppies and they're these ones are eating amazing at this age they're eating really really well now let me go over a lot of information because it's a just a lot um so it's so hard so then now I'm raising them and I have to wake up um every every well now that they're older as they get older they.

Their their feeding times the frequency can go down so now instead of feeding every 2 or 3 hours they're feeding every every four to 6 hours four to four to five honestly so I'm feeding them raising them and one of the hardest things about raising puppies English bulldog puppies especially uh is that they don't aspirate they don't inhale milk goes in their lungs it creates pneumonia and they die which is extremely easy to do and I use the fingertip method there's two methods that are that are the I would say the best for hand for raising bulldog puppies which is tubing them which I think is not as good as the fingertip method and then there's a fingertip method there's reasons you do the tubing.

Tubing is when you stick the tube down the throat and directly put the the milk into their um stomach and obviously that's traumatic stressful can cause abrasions in there but so if the puppies is healthy and eating and one eat I fingertip it so I put my finger in their mouth just like um the mom's nipple it's actually like the same size as mom's nipple too I'm not a big guy so I have small fingers so fingertip method fingertip is the nipple syringe goes into the finger not down so if you do squirt doesn't go down their throat and cause them to asate goes here so the milk hits the finger and then drips down.

And some people say well I'm feeding it too fast there's milk coming out any ex excess will come out the the the mouth and then whatever this puppy decides to take in it takes in it wants me to go faster it's making it very hard to do it but I won't go that fast for fear of aspiring the puppy so I'm raising these puppies and with puppies it's it's so hard you have to you know on top of just the the physical and mental taxation of waking up all the time and feeding them losing sleep and doing all that stuff it's mentally extremely stressful you'll have things go wrong wrong out of nowhere I'll talk about one when I pull this girl out um.

For no reason you can mess up and aspirate them they can get sickness they can get diarrhea which can cause them to die because you don't know why they have diarrhea do they have diarrhea because they have worms do deor them do they have diarrhea because they have they have gardia or coxidia do they have diarrhea because of of their stomach's not digesting stuff right all kinds of things can be the problem so then you have to solve that problem because being such a tiny little pup little little animal very sensitive and young a little a little like gardia which is common in dogs that can just cause upset sment for adults and normally adults actually become immune to it is not a problem for.

Adults gardia can kill a puppy the the diarrhea can dehydrate the puppy and um it doesn't absorb the food all kinds of bad things that happen so you can kill a puppy that way so that's another thing you know there it's so easy accidentally kill your the puppies by either not knowing like what to do or not seeing what's going on those two things are really really common and I'm I'm saying this because you know a lot of people don't understand that the how much work goes into it and that's why we charge what we charge.

Um and it's just this is a lot of work and I'll talk about the the the complications that happen too but right now for example I'm raising these three there's three females from cloud and Escobar cloud it's not being good mom just like how you know some humans aren't good moms and then I'm also raising one puppy off of um uh which is and Escobar as well it was only one puppy from the l again that stinks but one puppy is better than no puppies and she's and he's healthy he's almost 4 weeks old now and then I am also raising another Escobar litter that is 7 weeks old today or yesterday 7 weeks old yesterday so we got a busy the best bus.

Ranch and I'm going to show you all that and just so you get to see and I love showing everyone the puppies because you get to see the progression and um get to see what we do at the ranch and as you can see too so another disclaimer I like to go like to you know brag about I'm not a big bragger but this is my house right I'm inside my kitchen right now I brought this this this property this house everything for the dogs that was my main main purpose this house was built in 1986 and um the kitchen I'm almost posive is from 1986 super old I don't like it needs redone needs up dating looks ugly whatever floors need redone everything in.

The house needs lot a lot of things in the house need redone and just so you understand because I know there's a lot of like people that say oh this you just do this for the money or you um like you don't care about your dogs or or something and I know if you've been watching me for a long time you know that's that's not true and you see my stuff you see what I'm doing you know it's not true but it just shows that I'm spending hundred thousands of dollars on on my facility because I have it obviously I'm spending hundreds of thousands of dollars for my my dogs stuff that does not is not necessary stuff that's just to make it so my.

Dogs get the best have the best and extra you know like and I haven't spent a dime on the house I have not done the kitchen the kitchen needs a lot of work but instead of doing the kitchen I got you know customade doors for the for for the dogs pens you know and all that stuff so I just want you you to keep that in mind before you bash me on how much I care about my dogs and how devoted I am by I I put them before me you know I put them before I my my the kitchen don't get me wrong the kitchen's fine you know like but I I could have a lot nicer kitchen I could do all kinds of.

Nice things in the house but that will be next but after the dogs have their full facility all the ac's are are in the in the facility running perfectly the generators in there all that stuff's do going right so the dogs are extra safe then I'll make my life a little bit little bit easier for myself like I am doing for the dogs but not until then so little disclaimer something to think about before before if if you're one of those people that you know likes to be negative something to think about before you be negative towards me but anyhow um and I don't and I don't and I don't um I don't regret or or have any like disain towards my like my my.

Decisions to do the dogs first I love it and this I love I I I love having the facility it's been a dream of mine and the house will come later you might just tear this house down into a new house I don't know but it's way down my priorities so.

Puppies the these puppies are going to be three weeks this thursday two and a half weeks now they're doing great now you might ask me how do I know how much I feed it I just do there's also a calculation you can do with um weight times uh like uh how how many cc's you should put but I just know I'm going to give this puppy 30 cc's she's big she eats a lot she would eat a lot lot more but I don't want to give her too much where she throws up that's dangerous she could aspirate after when she throws up and um I fe her so often that she's fine but look at she's acting like I haven't like in days but it's.

Not the case and the puppy is very sensitive too I'm going to give show you an example so my girl my favorite girl yester two days ago was doing amazing right they're all doing amazing look at this look at the stomach fat little girl my favorite girl was was doing amazing ate great like at at 7 um p.m. And then like 11:00 I go to feed her and she's well before that she was screaming in pain and um and I go to.

Her and um and I'm like what's the matter and she was screaming a little bit when I picked her up in pain this is her this is my baby I love you this is like a little mini esar looks like Escobar to me so shoot let see I got see we live this is a live facetime someone used one of my studs I'll go over in a.

Second what's up bud it's beautiful what's up buddy hey listen you're on you're on the best bulls you're going to be on next next the best bulls episode I'm answering the facetime call while I'm filming all right cool that sounds good check them out man how many how many puppies four puppies three three the other one the other one didn't make it did did they show you the puppy yeah they showed us damn it yeah why not the uh the skull was too small like like squash sash they showed you the puppy that was the puppy dead yeah yeah it was dead yeah they showed it to us okay they they look really good that one the that blue one looks amazing on the right.

That's the girl this one right here right which one point to it no other one oh this one that's a boy yeah these two right here are boys this is a girl yeah it looks like it looks like a boy he looks huge like super big head yeah so h how's the mom she's good man she's real good she's good right now uh we'll be back to pick her up had to come back to pick her up how long um I would go I mean I would if it was me and my dog I I would I would go there and see and see her it makes her it's going to make her feel better seeing you um she way I can see her again.

She's scared can I see her again yes yeah she's scared I would go see her make sure she's okay soon as she as soon as she starts walking I would take her and then get her home and relaxed okay that's her right therey m yeah she's fine now yeah just get her out the the sooner she starts walking the more it's going to circulate the blood which is going to which is going to get that that that stuff out of her she she needs.

Walk okay sounds good yeah I would honestly man I would take her and take home okay as long as long as they they say she's stable take her sounds good yeah and give me a call that yes sir all right so check it that's that is um jose my buddy no he's I met him through the dogs lives in lives in texas they drove out here did a breeding with Escobar and then they just used and now they're having a litter they had puppies um I asked some some maybe strange questions because I I don't trust a lot of vets I asked like they show you the puppy that was dead maybe they'll steal the puppy um I don't trust a lot lot a lot.

Of people I' rather I ra you know I'm just skeptical you know um but anyhow so he called me's just showing me his stuff he's going to probably call me later ask for information he's not I'm just trying to help him out you know um so I'm always answering calls you know try to give everyone advice but it's pretty cool that they called me right now and I was doing that but to go back up with this girl so she was great I love her she's so cute so compact really nice nice head everything.

She was screaming in pain and I didn't know why and I thought maybe she had a blockage which is common to get a blockage especially from drinking like the not real milk goat milk ass black so then I gave her an ena then I also gave her um just just um peite through the mouth she was eating very bad very slow not like this it was like she looked like lethargic and with puppies it's super dangerous because when they miss one feeding they they get weak or they get they stop a little bit they get weak they get weak they they can't regulate body temperature can't regulate body temperature they can't they can't digest food can't digest food they die you know like all kinds.

Of bad things can happen like get dehydrated organ shut down there's so many bad things happen then and when you know the science behind it it's like a it's a huge snowballing fact effect it can happen quick so anyway I'm I'm super like mad annoyed annoyed I'm like trying to blame myself okay maybe I did this wrong maybe I did this wrong maybe I aspirated her when I give her this medication maybe I did this whatever I don't no so I look at her look at her look I stay there for like 30 minutes I'm looking at her seeing her like tense and breathing like does she need oxygen no she doesn't need oxygen and then I finally just see a little swelling this over.

Here it's still a little swell swollen it is still a little swollen over here it's like it's like in her lymph notes or gland and I see it and I touch it she screams so I'm like okay that's a pain man she has a tumor or something so it's just it's some type of infection she got no clue how and um so then I immediately put her on seil axin she's on antibiotics right now and she's doing amazing now so but that was out of nowhere I didn't she had not not been dropped she's been kept clean she has been healthy and fed and then all of a sudden from one feing to the next we go from eating like this to not.

Wanting to eat at all which I know something's wrong with her then and screaming in pain and then screaming when you touch her in pain and I didn't know why because obviously I touched her in her neck and that's where the pain is but so that was a really big scare and that's that's something if you don't assess right away and you wouldn't see it seeing that neck it was a barely swollen you can't see it even now honestly unless you know it's there but that's something that just you have to pay attention to you know and I always talk about the number one thing with dogs puppy adult whatever is just attention if you pay attention you can make sure bad things don't happen.

If you pay attention you can solve problems you know if you pay attention um you keep your dog safe happy and healthy so is antics so that's what I did and I and I saved her because I paid attention and I watched her so we're going to watch this girl grow we need names for her I'm I'm 75% chance going to keep her honestly too I always have an attachment with the ones I that I save because I'm like man I love them and they I think they love me more too for for saving them because she would she would have died you know um if you're if she was with someone that didn't know what they were doing so always check the milk temperature.

Milk's getting a little the milk too you don't want it too hot obviously you can burn them you don't want it too cold because it can chill their body temperature and then they can't digest it they can't digest the milk until it gets to their body temperature and if you give them cold milk they might not drink it and if they do you if you drop their body temperature they can't puppies can't digest food until their body temperature is good so there's a lot of things to this and I don't I don't recommend anyone becoming a breeder it's so much work it's so hard it's not a money grab it's the la fest thing from that and if you are going to do it you.

Have to love it obviously I love it and I've you know dedicated now my life to it and learning the sciences behind it so I can problem solve understand the dogs and everything but um if you are going to ever think about doing this you have to one find someone knows they're doing that can help you and two just read and watch as much content as possible sort of what jose and his his girl are doing they found me and I'm I'm I try to help them and uh I try to educate them tell them to stay on it look at stuff everything because it's it's a huge huge curve so I know I'm rambling but this just like puppy information the the the.

The obstacles that that you know are are um that are included with you know breeding bulldogs and the puppies and raising them which is which is hard you know very rarely do you get you know just a 100% smooth process there's always something you know this is this that's just how life is but this girl is eating I think I think that's my third cc I'm not sure though um I mean my third 10 cc thing but she's still hungry so I'm going to keep on giving her this will be the third might be the second I'm not sure honestly I think it's the second now anyhow so jose is going to call me back I'm probably going to stop filming for a little.

Bit and just call him and um just help him out and make sure his puppies get fed so and every day that the dogs get older the dogs get stronger more resilient and um and you're safer as far as like okay my pup's not going to die you know but it's still always so scary and you put so much work into it I put so much work into these these girls these three girls like man her dying would have been would have been been super sad about it also too like I said this this puppy want to feel her.

Right here we have one more puppy and I'm not I'm really what I'm doing right now is the normal time it takes for me to feed these puppies so this is this is normal turn sideways so you can see so like it takes a while it's like 10 15 minutes every puppy sessing the puppy making sure they're good let me see this girl is so cute though and you know what's funny too is to the to the naked eye or someone that's not really in this in this long they look at three puppies like oh they all look they look the same maybe just different color pattern or whatever but I can tell big differences on the puppies because like I always say too.

When you're dealing with the a puppy and you want to get a puppy it's the small things that make a big difference later you know you you have to look at this micro t just kidding it's small details that are going to make a big difference.

Look I'm so I'm so I'm so uh like uh old school there I don't have I don't have a microwave I heat my stuff up and hot water and we don't have a microwave because we just never got one then so also like there's a lot of heal things against it so we don't do it so takes a little longer to heat up milk and do all things but we get it I get it done this girl is done clean her face up and we'll do the last girl then we have to do the boy and then we're um done for 4 hours but to get to work on the dogs so with puppies when you when you get educated at this or not educated.

When you get good at you can see big differences tiny little things make big differences later because obviously it's small so like if it looks like it has a little bit of a long back when it gets older that'll be amplified if it looks like it has a huge head when it gets older it'll be amplified so you want to look at the little little things and even with the with the dogs like not the brag but I think esar is one of the best looking mini bulldogs in the world and that being said he's not that much different than than than a regular English bulldog like as far as looks go like there's dogs that you know they only look a little bit.

Different than him but that little difference those those 10 little things that esbar has different make a huge difference in in the overall look and the same thing goes with the with the puppies by the way this towel was clean before I used it now it's dirty we switch towels out every time so like there's so much that goes behind this you know it's funny and you think about it's like I have to get a new towel every time I feed my puppies I have to change their towel out and they been every time so it's like the laundry and everything that goes into this it's just just so much it really is the the the amount of work that goes into puppies is crazy.

That's why I don't recommend anyone doing unless you love it because if you don't love it you will probably cut corners and end up failing or cut corners and the only people that suffer for that are the dogs you know if I cut corns because I don't care about this dog that much and I don't give them new towels and clean stuff they could get sick they could get infections they could get hurt all kinds of stuff so it's so important to do everything right for yourself but more importantly for the for the dogs the puppies everything so anyway little differences make a big difference and that's the same in everything like if you talk about like sports cars you know like we're talking about.

In racing it's 10 10 a tenth of a second is a big difference with a with a puppy like a half quarter e/ of an inch makes a big difference in like the overall look of the dog the leg structure everything also makes a big difference in the functionality of the dog as far as the breathing and everything goes just a tiny bit smaller of the airway will result in a way way healthier or way less healthy dog so all those things little little things make a big difference and everything and little things are amplified in puppies as they get older it amplifies so some some something to think about.

But I think that's I mean I'm talking a lot and trying to cover a lot of information about the puppies it's it's a big thing for for those of you that are just going to you know you're just dog lovers and just watching because you want to see what what this entails I appreciate you and those of you that you know maybe someday want to um raise their own English bulog puppies or you know do this as a hobby or a profession just be think very very carefully before you do it it's a lot a lot of work do a lot of research before you ever get into doing the real thing you know practice practice practice before because it's a lot and one mistake.

One mistake with these with these puppies like keeping them on a on a heat on too hot of a heating pad where they have no spot to get off your puppies are dead you know like and that's why when that puppy had that thing and was in pain and not not um not eating I'm like okay what did I do wrong I'm trying to think of every single thing I did that day and yet the day before what did I do wrong what did the poop look like uh what's the matter with this puppy because I'm trying to blame myself because that's the only way I'm going to get better if every single time something bad happens and I just think oh just.

A puppy oh just a puppy I'm never going to solve any problems like even if it is I don't know how I could stop that the puppy had that thing maybe I could have noticed it earlier maybe I could have gave it given it another bath but then maybe if could give too many baths you know the skin dries out it causes problems too which causes lacerations which cause more infections I don't know there's so much to it but anyway I'm always trying to blame myself for every problem because that's how you get better and that's I mean coming from the you know the professional athlete world you don't get better at blaming anyone you get better blaming yourself and figuring out solutions how to.

How to solve even if you're not like the real main problem like even if I this puppy gets hurt because someone comes and drops like and then knocks their their pen over it's like man I should have had that pen in a safer place I should had that pen um uh not there different ways my fault not their fault my fault I'm the one that has to watch them so I know this is like a life lesson and stuff but with puppies always blame yourself with everything else always blame yourself because you blame yourself you can you can you can improve yourself and make yourself better and that's what I'm always trying to do but anyway these three puppies are now doing really well every.

Day they um they that they that they're you know thriving eating they're getting stronger and stronger make sure you stay up to stay up to date on them with on my on my ig on my tick on my YouTube channel right here the DaBestBulls Ranch we appreciate you so much and I'm going to finish up feeding this one I've been rambling for a long time this is the third one and then I'm going to go and feed the uh the four-week old boy so we'll we'll we'll feed him in in a.

Second we're live this dirty little look at leah leah leah look at the puppy no she wants to water so this is Escobar puppy as well different age I'm going to give him a bath he's dirty so this is a 4 week old puppy almost four weeks and um it is four weeks actually there a four-week old puppy you see the progression how they go from like getting a little thicker and bigger and then in a second I'll show you seven week old puppies and how they actually look like bulldogs they don't really start looking like bulldogs in my opinion until about 6 weeks that's when they get that the rope and the head and they are obvious bulldogs but until then they're just like.

They're not bulldog to me and uh I mean like they don't have like the you know all the distinguished factors that you expect with a bulldog and takes takes some weeks you know like usually minimum five six weeks until they really get that bulldog look this boy he still need to pop his rope a little more which I hope he will and I think he will he's es of our son but he has a really nice like water like a like apple head and he's going to look really nice I think but that's another thing too is you don't really see them looking really nice like bulldogs until about five six seven maybe even longer weeks weeks old just give this boy a nice little.

Bath he has like milk dried up milk all over him and he had poop on him too so want to keep clean so we just grab paper towels that wasn't prepared I didn't have the um the uh I didn't have the what's called that towel out so I was not expecting to clean him.

So dry him off and I'm going to blow dry him and I'm going to feed him so this is a this is what a little bit older than four weeks looks like fawn Escobar son bred to another one of our females that we produced her name is stella she'll actually be coming to to the facility tomorrow she's a at a co- owner's house um or one of my little partner's houses um you have so many lers you know they take a lot of time and a lot a lot of um attention you if you can get someone that's really good it'll help you but like I said I usually raise all my my layers because it's either me or my mom or this one other.

Person um because I it's very hard and I don't trust many people and I'm very ocd with my layers but so this little boy is cute we're going to see how he develops too and um if he looks good in a couple weeks I think he's going to he has a really nice back and a really nice head he just his face hasn't developed where he got like he hasn't had the rope and stuff yet so he needs to get that so I'm going to blow dry him look at my hightech blow dryer.

Here and uh I'm going to put it when I blow dry my puppies something I always do too is I always keep my hand on them and the reason I do that is because while you're blow drying can get really can get really hot and so I keep the hand hand on on I keep the hand on because that way I can feel always the temperature air that they're getting on my hand I know okay it needs to be not as hot whatever this is come on buddy he's just really hungry these puppies eat poop pee and sleep at this age so he's just like why am I getting a bath normally the mom would give them would lick them so crazy to give them.

The bath he doesn't have a mom too his mom stopped being good mom but at least he got weeks of um of um milk which is important the most important though for the puppies is to get that first 3 4 days of of colostrum milk and that really sets them up that gives them all their immunities and stuff.

So that's that he he's just hungry now he's just starting to be able to walk he he he's getting his legs on under him still a little spited out no he's not a swimmer puppy he's just um get his legs under him and that takes a little bit to build that strength so we're going to feed him this boy eats a.

And show see and again to go back to the the progression thing it's pretty cool see them progress and how they just sort turn into bulldogs around that five six seven week old rain uh age group but I'm going to show I'll show you the seven week old puppies they look like bulldogs now they they're getting the rope now and everything and just because I mean some some puppies will start looking bulldog is I don't quotations say around 5 weeks some it'll take them until 8 or nine weeks it doesn't mean that the 5we one old is better than the 7 we one old because they they can develop differently especially too depending on the line they come from like Escobar puppies will develop.

A little bit different rate than Fury puppies and present puppies so it depends on on their line their mom their dad their grandparents everything on on their developmental rate so that's a big thing as well too his puppy is doing the method feeding him actually we might keep this boy.

So if you guys um think of a name for him let me know because I'm I'm probably going to keep him he might be my next fwn stud his his his face has to develop a little bit more I'm very picky on those things like I said I'm I'm with little details especially for a stud they have to be perfect he's going to be a very good looking bulldog but I have to see a couple things happen in him before I decide to keep him but he already is so nice and he actually this is the the.

Fury direct Fury Escobar puppy when you mix them so this one's mom is Fury um this one's mom is produced by Fury and this one's dad is Escobar so it's Escobar breed to a Fury daughter so it's Fury Escobar on both sides of the top of the pedigree which is really cool uh and that's why I expect big things from this boy like he doesn't even look as good as some puppies this age I've seen and I've seen those puppies not turn out good not not not turn out good but not turn out like as amazing and then I've and then I've seen puppies that don't look.

You know amazing at this we age and then turn out amazing and I'm being very critical too like all those puppies I'm talking about looked really good but talking about little details especially for me wanting to you know a stud and stuff like that has to be perfect as far as a as a dog goes this should be a super functional healthy uh amazing looking boy with a great temperament just based off who his parents are so that's something I'm super proud of but we'll definitely keep keep you post on that definitely stay tuned follow me on all platforms and uh let's watch how this guy this little boy develops in the ne in the next four weeks we should really have a good clue.

On on what he's going to look like now he's all clean I'll get some pictures with them bo's looking cute and then um I like his stance are right to see his stance he has this natural nice spread stance he has the tight Escobar Fury feet he has a lot of things that I can see already that are looking good just need his rope to come in good and um it' be good and then a lot of people like love color and stuff I love every color you know I love this fawn color I love lilac I love all the colors they all look good to me it just depends on the on the dog you know I'm not I don't have a preference between.

Chocolate merle and fawn the fawn's super pretty to me too and I think too too much color is like the number one choice for people it shouldn't be because like you know you you just want there's so many things that are way more important functionality health way more important temperament way more import important structure way more important you know uh tail pocket having not having that way important uh you know all uh like you know all those there's eyes health way more important you know how much tears if the sh way more important color not that important it's a cool addition I think if you want a specific color and your like you know you're getting as your pet I think you should get that.

Color but I also think you should not let that color blind you when picking out your puppy and make sure you get that color but you first have the other aspects that I talked about that are so much more important as far as your dogs health and well-being throughout its life you know you don't want to get a you know a blue dog just because you want a blue dog and get it from a bad line and then you're going to spend the next 10 years spending crazy money at the vet and just seeing something you love so much like in pain or not doing well you know you it's not just about the money it's about just the dog and you don't want to.

See that you know um so that is my rundown on that so I'm going to finish feeding up this boy he'll eat he'll eat probably five six of these syringes and then um I think we'll show off the uh s week old puppies today's a puppy day I mean if you like puppies today's the day to watch the DaBestBulls Ranch episode and um we'll show some more do we'll show show some more of the adult dogs and then we'll close it up and I really appreciate everyone for watching but I'm going to click off now we're going to throw s we gold puppies next so watch.

This we're going to feed the 7we old puppies now I recently changed my 7we old puppy uh formula to feed them because of um some problems so what happens with uh with with the younger bulldog puppies is they have a 10 see to knuckle I actually don't know the scientif scientific word for it so when they walk and their ankle blows out now the reason that happens is is a protein too much protein which causes an imbalance in the muscle and tendon growth which makes it so they'll buckle so you want to give them a low protein diet it actually like goes against my my feeding regiment because my bullocks are fed so such high quality food high quality everything and with the puppies I.

Give them this this is pretty bad food okay this is the chicken flavored dog chow by pina it's bad dog food I would never get it to my adults and it probably cause outbreaks but with the puppies it works and it's I've seen a couple puppies already that have the tendency to knuckle you give it this it stops them so as a precaution uh for the first couple of months I only give after they get off the milk I give them just the pina dog dog chow here um so I make a little formula this is what I do so I give him just a pina dog chow because I don't want that protein deficiency when I give them too high protein um they'll they.

They get that deficiency it cause them the knuckle and I mix it with just a little bit of milk and the only reason I do the milk powder is just for flavor I just want them to eat it good and another reason I do it too is because with these puppies I have to give them um their medication and they willon this medication sucks so this is a dew warer with fen bend isol so the puppies have a little bit of loose stool so I'm get the dew warmer at 7 weeks and also give them the fen benzol which if they do have um giardia which is very common um even know my adults have perfect stool and everything uh they can the adults can.

Still carry giardia which can give it to the puppies and puppies don't have a strong immune system so they show it so the loose stool could be just could be slight warms or gardia and I'm that's why I'm going to give them fen bend disol in the dew warmer which takes care of everything but this stuff tastes horrible so instead so to make them eat it I'll put some milk in there and it's 2 mig mill um2 milliliters per pound so I have in there um right now I have five in there they each weigh about uh it's it's about I just doing the math off top my head just trust me it's about it's about 6 mls of this.

Stuff which is right there and now we're good yeah if you try give them this fen benzol safeguard in their mouth they go crazy so I don't do that so I do that I use filtered water so I have a a reverse off mo machine and I have well water so all this water is reverse m this is very this is like better than your bottled water just saying because I don't just give them any I wouldn't just give them any any faucet water but since I run off a well which is natural spring water and everything that comes out of this faucet.

Um through my reverse osmos machine it's a very high-end filter machine um it's very good drinking water so it's warm I mix that and then so this is mush right they're 7 weeks old so I want to make them so they can eat they eat a little better get used to chewing so oh jeez so just to um to facilitate.

That I'll take some of this and get them used to I don't like the whole pieces they could choke on that so I just like to take a little bit there we go I make sure they're not yeah that's perfect and this will get chewing and whenever you're giving them pieces to chew at first I always recommend monitoring your puppies and watching them um just in case they do choke you're there so I don't would never feed them when when you first get them look at this little little pieces when you first start getting them on to to chewing their food always watch them so we're going to watch them the whole time so this is their food right here very simple we're going to.

Take it to the puppies so like I said don't ever feed your puppies the first time giving them hard solid foods um without watch them so I give him this it's a nice little circle bowl now I'm going to explain what I have going on here so this baby don't want these are esar puppies come here baby eye grandma skin doesn't hurt.

Her look he's getting confused help them just so make sure these ones don't hog all the food so they eat really well now one thing to always make sure that they're going to see this is I use the food to see how well they're they're they're feeling if I if I saw these puppies if I saw one of them not want to eat I would immediately think something's a matter and I would now start assessing that puppy also important to keep the bottom clean so you can see the poop um if the poop's loose or bloody or anything it's a problem come on buddy but they're hungry they're eating really good and I feed them a ton now the pen so the pen I I.

Is a drop pen if you look from this side right here or if you just look you can don't even look you see right here look here so they're it's a floating floor floor and then I keep you know the bed here so I don't want them just on wire that's that's cruel and what allows it to do is because the puppies this young they'll poop and run in water walk in their own feces so this poop goes straight down keeps an eye of their poop keeps them clean and makes it easy clean I take I take the trays out and clean there so I love these drop pins now as you can see I'm still not fully moved into my place you know.

The dog the dog facility gets way more attention than the house but this is our little makeshift puppy puppy facility area here we have a we we'll get it better as we um finish the facility but as you can see the puppy's doing well always keep a a a a fresh cloth in there to lay on because if you're going to if you're going to keep your dogs on on a grate for any reason I strongly recommend and I think it's only fair to make sure the puppies have a nice soft area to go and sleep and lay down so they do and then so they eat this I'll give them water too after theyve done this I'll start putting water in the dish um.

So they get used to just being a normal dog where they're eating regular food and water um so I'm thickening up the dog food and putting little pieces of actual dog for them to chew in there as they get older and older and get closer to 8 weeks so when they go 8 weeks to their new home they're ready to go so these puppies are looking super good too look at them look at this little girl king king ask our daughter looks really nice right.

Baby so and also to if you're interested I know um so my my buddy he has it's he owns big bone bulldogs he has these these pens on his website you can go get them there um but I really like these fens and even for a younger puppy um if you wanted to train them in this at first it works really well too but when you have one two puppies is not a big deal but when you have five or six I mean they're just going to pee and poop and then run all in it so this makes it so much easier to keep them clean and these puppies are are are 7 weeks old now you see the structure is really nice like like.

I'll show they're they're still eating so I don't want to b them I love this girl right here though the rope the Escobar rope the bone this boy right here come here boy this boy you're so cute but they're all really nice see so this is why you watch them because so I'm watching no just my I feel like she's being light on her right on her back left leg but maybe she's not so important to watch them and they're eating good only reason these ones aren't eating now is cuz I'm here and they're they're getting you know flustered by me but they're all eating good they all have full bellies no one looks lethargic everyone's moving well this is very very very good all.

Good news 7 we old puppies make sure you stay tuned um keep on watching episodes watch us in all the other channels click follow them down below because we're always posting the puppies and showing their progress they they mature so fast also a little thing too is we put this this like a shower curtain thing here because they do pee and poop outside the pen so it makes it so it's easier to clean up but soon we'll have the puppy stalls down done down at the facility and we'll keep keep them there probably probably but this is for puppies works really well and um on to the next.

Thing so today we we had uh ma bullas fly in he flew in from georgia and then came out he it's what he likes to do he's actually um he we have dealt with him before and um he's a really nice guy and he likes just to come likes to see the pull uh of the stud and then he brings it back itself it's just what what he likes to do so he flew in came to the facility we did the pool everything went well I'm hoping that goes well for him uh he's in it's called mac bulldogs in georgia give him a follow really nice guy um and then and um and we try to be as as accommodating as possible you know to.

Anyone that gets one of more stud credits anyone that gets a puppy obviously you know we're trying to give the best service possible and uh and we really are me personally in the best bulls we take pride on making sure people you know when they say they deal with the best bulls they're like yo really nice people good service everything so um really like to to do that we also today have a family coming uh the I call them the royals that's where they are on tik tok and everything and they're coming they are locals they live somewhere by orlando and they're going to come check out an Escobar female probably pick out a female um to to take as well too they're going come.

Boy so the king Escobar profile king Escobar is our most famous mini English bulldog stud he's a true mini English bulldog he's 12.5 in tall crazy thick we like to brag that he's probably the thickest mini bulldog in the world his wrists and his bone are crazy thicker than my wrists um and you don't really appreciate him until you see him in person he is way smaller and way thicker in person he looks bigger in video and in picture because he's so thick it makes him look like he's a 100b dog but he's really short and compact and then you obviously don't even really understand how thick he is until you see him in person but that being said Escobar on top of being you.

Know an amazing stud producing a gorgeous mini English bull puppies and micro English bulldog puppies he's you know my pet and I love him so much he's a super nice boy he is very very calm probably our calmest bulldog that we have as far as he's just there's just zero aggression in Escobar if a dog tries to attack him he literally will turn and run the other way he's very calm he wants no quels with anyone he doesn't doesn't try to pick fights with anybody he's just very nice he's like a little goofy and you know just walks around he will run to run and jump he's very functional but at the same time Escobar is just a very calm chill dog that um is.

You know the stereotypical bulldog where he's lazy and just wants to follow you around and just be next to you but the same time can still run can still jump and do all those things now Escobar things Escobar's favorite thing um would probably be little kids he loves little kids my daughter he goes crazy honestly he gets so excited that he like jumps on her too much that's his only flaw right there um he does not love food Escobar is uh one of the bulldogs that if he doesn't eat his whole meal in the morning or night I don't immediately think anything's wrong with him because he sometimes will skip meals and we have to make sure we try to keep him eating by you.

Know making sure there's good wet food on his food and all that stuff so he is not crazy food driven now some of the physical characteristics that we love about escobars we we love his straight short back absolutely love his monster basketball head with a flat face no muzzle and really no underbite his bone structure his his ar his arms are crazy thick and all that so that's something we love and obviously you know having Escobar as as a sire or the dad of the puppies you see that transfer over into his puppies you see that thickness you see that huge basketball round head I we love the fact that Escobar has the round style head it's it's a preference thing but the round head.

That Escobar has is the shape of it is just very unique and super pretty and just very nice if you're if you're looking for a bulldog with that big head all in all esar is is a super loving super sweet boy I couldn't ask for a better bulldog as far as temperament goes and especially as structure goes and if if you like thick you like small you like compact bulldogs you you can't get better than Escobar period bar none me and this king esar sun really appreciate you for following us watching us and staying tuned to the the DaBestBulls Ranch episode make sure you like subscribe check out everything down below we have all the other platforms subscribe to them as well too.
