Ep 32 - Secret to Raising Elite Mini & Micro Bulldogs Unlocked! Puppies, Studs, info

Our proven method to raising the best mini and micro bulldogs health temperament structure and more so two weeks ago DaChamp had a skin issue and basically it was my fault um I chang the food um and that's the most common thing with skin issues is the food uh number one and I changed the food to add different ingred different food in there he didn't like it honestly 100% my fault because I didn't see that had chicken meal on it and gave him chicken meal and he's one of my boys that doesn't like chicken and he had an immediate reaction whole body hives whole body horrible and just from just from one day of of bad feeding him so obviously I found out it was.

Actually more than one day was a couple days because I didn't notice that and I looked at the ingredient like oh my god so stupid always read the ingredients don't trust me anyone tells you it's a good food read the ingredients if it's good food the ingredients will will show that it's a good food but he had horrible outbreak show you right here and um and then uh we cut him off the food got him my new food and I put him new stock all over him two times only two or three times I put new stock all over him um and he's almost 100% better now the problem with with with skin problems is that one you have to find the solution I don't.

Recommend getting shots and doing things like um like uh that like you know like anti-allergy stuff normally unless it's one of the rare rare cases which is not normally the case obviously hence the rare thing because all you're doing is covering up the problem and for example if you're covering up a problem that like for a food allergy that is causing like internal problems in them that that comes out to the skin and you cover that up with a with a with a shot there still having like internal problems most likely so figure out the root of the problem and then take care of I figured out the root of the problem immediately and then treated him and now it's gone away and it's staying.

Away so means I figured out the problem but one of the big things that you see is that when you see a skin problem like that like the hives and everything like that no matter what even if you fix it instantly you still have a month month and a half until the dog's back to ready like those those wounds those blisters have healed the fur has grown back everything so it's not an immediate fix but it is an immediate fix know I I I dissected the problem in right away after a couple days and saw that what happened change of food treat him w with with the with the with the new stock the um all over his body and now he's good but this.

Is this is this is two weeks later a little bit over two weeks um he was actually getting better when when we already showed him in in the previous episode but still it shows so biggest thing when you have skin allergies is find the problem you have to find the problem 90% of the time there is I mean 99% of time there is a there's a problem it's usually um it's 90% of the time uh dietary and it's either the food or this is the good one the treats a lot of people like well I'm only giv this and like what are you giving for treats oh I haven't looked at the ingredients on that look at the ingredients on every single thing you give.

Your dog so we're going to go show DaChamp right now real quick show talk about his his his fur show him off a little bit he's one of our new new studs he is a king Escobar uh um son bred to a Fury daughter he's insane probably one of my best productions I mean not probably he is definitely one of my best productions ever and he is an example at the best bulls is getting better and better and better with our production with our health with our temperament with our structure with our quality everything let's go see him hey baby you're so fast hey do you do you want do you want me to get do you want me to get DaChamp out.

Yeah yes sir let's get DaChamp out okay le look DaChamp's coming DaChamp come come on champ look at him look him look at him DaChamp come get leah look at him leah DaChamp come on come on there we go DaChamp is here say DaChamp is.

Here use that be- roll too him pet him so we got audio so DaChamp is such a sweet boy honestly um temperament wise he's almost like a little bit too docile he's very hyper very playful very athletic very functional I know we talking about this but he gets a little scared sometimes too he's he's like a a a but I honestly rather a little little bit more of the style than like obviously aggressive style um so DaChamp champ sit you see you see how his fur it's he's he's going to roll over he's such a such like a submissive doile boy super sweet that's a really good sign when when a dog like wants to like lay down like this and watch this.

He'll roll over very easily that's a very good sign shows that he's that he's submissive but you see his fur it's like it's not as long as it should be but there's no more holes in it um which is amazing and it's it's about to grow in and get like perfect and if you saw him two weeks ago it was horrible um but obviously we fixed the problem we treated it to help those you know blisters and the and the outside problem go away and uh expedite the healing process and now he's he's almost he's almost perfect right leah you want to make him run after you yeah okay watch this come.

On the j you see he's so athletic though I mean he's amazing DaChamp get leah get leah get leah DaChamp DaChamp get leah get her get her good job leah he is he sweet is he a boy and then of course in the best bull fashion DaChamp has that structure has that crazy head has good stance has good bone and again he's only 14 months old he's going to get a lot better a lot nicer over the next little bit and it's he's breathing but it's because we're in the middle of summer it's 90° out and um any dog is going to be hot this time but again I don't have to worry he can come out and he's perfect right.

DaChamp the ch get leah play with leah leah get him get him get him grab him gra him get him leah get him leah ah he get you he's going to get you he's going to get you get some more be of her I'm going to get him to do something actually really funny he's going to get you he's going to get you he's going to get you.

Le more proof that the best bus produces health structure functionality temperament and true mini micro bulldogs is our boy the DaSugarMan king esar son let's do another update on him we're going to do updates pretty much every episode every other episode of him just so we can really watch him grow up um so that's going to be fun let's get into it so the cool thing is that the DaSugarMan's going 8 months and um the cool thing is that we're getting to see him grow up he's 8 months old um which make which means that he's about full grown full length full height but now he's going to get so much nicer and I know it's hard to like I don't know maybe.

For some people this some people it's not he's so playful though he's such a athletic let's go in the shade come on come on sugar he has a really nice back perfect length super nice head really nice bone and now it's just about over the next 6 months he's going to go from looking like a puppy and lanky like a like sort of like a 15-year-old boy 13-year-old boy how the lanky and then you know 2 years later 17 18 they're filled out that's exactly what's going to happen to him now and um like I've always say blogs are going to reach about full height full length between six and 10 months old 6 and n9 months old some around there this boy is.

Super sweet amazing we we we'll keep on monitoring him as he grows obviously and uh he's going to be one of our our mini sl micro studs he's right on the on the edge of micro too too small for mini and too big big for micro he's like right in that window I don't care either one he's going to be tiny and thick so it's it's awesome I love him right sugar sugar sit down there we go look at this look at this little boy so the DaSugarMan is coming out turning out amazing and it's exciting to see me me personally I love seeing the dogs get to that eight-month old old stage and if if if uh word of advice on bulldogs and.

Lots and lot and pretty much all the dogs um especially the bigger breed dogs if they look decent you know structur like their back is is sound um they have decent you know head shape decent bone all these things um at around 8 months 6 to 8 months then most likely you're going to have a dog that's you know exponentially better than what you what you already see um because the last between a year and two years old those those dogs mature and thicken up insane and the bulldogs like that's why it's so exciting for me to see um the DaSugarMan because he looks good it doesn't look like stud quality is right now like obviously if you saw a stud that was 3.

Years old that looked like him it wouldn't you wouldn't want him but being that he's a baby and he looks really good he's going to get there and um and the proofs in the pudding we're going to show it you know and uh and also too it's something that I've seen time and time again this is why people come to me and um and trust the DaBestBulls Ranch because we show dogs continuously um that we produce that grow that start here from Escobar from Fury from the milk all these things and they go to here and they look amazing and I've said it you know I say it it's going to look amazing and boom it does the DaMilkMan look amazing here he.

Does um and I have so many more examples po we're going be showing po off soon if you guys remember the po we're going to be showing him off soon again looked amazing the puppy grew up little lish whatever now he's amazing um so yeah I I I put your I like to like like I say it but also the actions speak lou in the words because we see it you know we see the we see the functionality we see the temperament we see the structure we see all those things with our puppies and as we watch them grow up because we keep some of them um you know we get what we want so it's.

Awesome a quick little tip on overheating anytime you have a dog overheating the DaSugarMan's not overheating but if I were to run him in the sun for the next you know hour um in 90° Florida heat with 100 100% humidity whatever it is um he would he could overheat so one tip and even when a dog is breathing hard you don't want to give them water right away you want to let them cool down relax for a second and then you're going to give him water DaMilkMan right now I mean um not DaMilkMan the DaSugarMan right now is is so nothing that I could we could um I would treat him normal but if he started like to breathe really hard um.

And he was fine like you know obviously way pre-stages of overheating I um I would just bring him in cool him down put him in his you know in the cool inside and um and then after he comes down I would give him some water but you don't want to give him water instantly because they'll over drink they can throw up they can they can aspirate they all kinds of things um so body needs to cool down a little bit right now though like I said the DaSugarMan he can drink water he can he he can do what whatever he wants but it's a common mistake people think oh let's give more where jam water down the throat aspirate a dog an aspiration can.

Kill a dog you know within hours and minutes and stuff like that so it's very it's very dangerous um that's just one little quick tip on on dealing with your dogs and this is just everyday life you know when I run my my um my german shepherd and my newland wick and baba I run them pretty hard so they get super tired we first go inside lay down 20 minutes calm down water now now now they're good um and that's just being me extra cautious I'm sure there's people that have done it before where where they um give their dog water right away and it's been okay but you know majority you're going to have better results in the long run doing it the.

Way I'm I'm telling you it's it's a safe safer way right the sugar sugar let's go inside come on sugar yeah so it's hot out Florida always be careful with your dogs no matter what kind of dog it is in this in this type of heat freaking august crazy summer 90° humidity is insane um so yeah you just got to be careful the good thing is here at the best bus branch we produce true mini true micro English bulldogs with health temperament structure functionality um and there's lots of bulldogs that that's the reason why bus get a bad name there's lots of bulldogs that can't even come out outside 90° like for more than a minute they out they would potentially go into heat.

Stroke you know over breathing throwing up passing out like right away which is horrible and that's why buug should be bred properly for health and structure for health and functionality first like like the sugar sugar show them show them sugar he's I'm not going to run around I'm just play him come on sugar come on.

Go so the yard was a huge process and like I say with with everything um that I do I try to go you know above and beyond do the best best of my ability I don't really have an on andof switch I either do something or I don't do something so if I'm going to do bulldogs I'm going to do it to the best of my ability if I'm going to you know um do the yard I'm going to do it to the best of my ability and they go hand in hand with the bulldogs as well too with the overall you know the DaBestBulls Ranch so I want the DaBestBulls Ranch to be strong at the foundation all the way up.

We're been doing I'll talk about scammers real quick we are probably the most impersonated dog person in the world if not uh but and 100% the most impersonated bulldog person bulldog people in the world so you have to be very careful with scammers that's why I am so um transparent I put my number out there I'm always answering calls always answering fa facetimes I will never make up excuses on why I can't facetime you the facetime will always be clear you'll always see me you'll always see me talking I know a lot of times on the um on the uh facetime scammer facetimes these people get facetimed by the scammer but it's just old video of me holding a puppy and you don't see me.

Talking correlating to what the scammer saying so we've actually like you know tried to get the scammers and they've we've seen the stuff so um I know a lot of times people get you know convinced because emotionally they want the puppy but you have to be very careful and like I said I'll never make excuses to talk to anyone or anything like that so you can always contact me back to the yard let me know what you think lot of y a lot of yard stuff being done uh we have a lot more work that we are going to do um now with that we have done the the backyard um area as well too we're going to be installing the the um doggy pools.

That are hooked up to our spring so we have a spring that you know we live in a an area with lots of springs we have well water that's tapped into a spring so it get fresh water and I'm going to run spring water through like a 6 in um 6in pool for the dogs to play in always supervised though I don't trust the dogs in there um without me you know around um but again let me know in the comments what you think and um if you want to see more or you have any recommendations on the yard or any of that stuff comment message me hit me up on ig hit me up on on on um fb hit me up on the.

Tick hit me up on all those things love you guys I'm always here for you appreciate your so fluffy English bulldogs velvet English bulldogs um I want to talk about them and I um no negativity it's just I'm just going to try my opinion my opinion on it and um and because I've been getting asked about it are you going to have velvets are you going to have fluffies you going to have that so just so everyone understands my one number one focus on bulldogs is producing bulldogs that I want that are good quality temperament structurally functionally healthy all the all all those things put together that's the number one number one thing then I want them to be small because I like small um.

Makes it easier for people and um they're just cute and all that stuff and I like them thick and everything but above everything else health temperament functionality those three things are pretty even I don't even know which one's better but health uh functionality temperament so people ask me about the fluffies and velvets I still don't have perfect health functioning temperament and um so I'm not I'm not I'm not moving towards fluffies or velvets or that style like you know changing like this the the making a fluffy um bulldog or a velva bu now if I found one that was even better health um temperament and functionality than what I have or what I can currently have access to um then.

I would maybe use one but it's just it's just not in some something I want to do it's like worrying about like in my opinion of the car is like worrying about getting a super nice best red paint you can put on a car before you even have the car chassis and engine and all those things like perfect and I know perfect is is almost unattainable if you're a perfectionist so I'm probably never going to get like you know a you're never going to get a perfect dog um to me you know like some dogs are perfect I love them whatever but it's just that's that's a relative thing but that being said I'm not really for the whole fluffy and velvet thing I know.

Some people have it and it's it's cool but it's the same thing too like me I'm the wrong person to ask that because I'm really not for like I don't really care about if a dog's brown if a dog's lilac if a dog is merle if a dog is white like I think they're all gorgeous I don't care about the paint job of a dog like I really don't I care about the structure I care about the function I care about the health I care about the temperament all those things combined make me think that dog is absolutely gorgeous like a black dog white dog yellow dog I don't I don't care so that's my take on on um on fluffy bulldogs um velvet bulldogs.

And all that stuff um a real quick little tip if you like it get it whatever you know like if you want if you can especially if it has the functionary health and temperament and um structure all those things but a real quick quick tip especially to those to the breeders out there and even you know uh a pet future pet home of of one of those dogs be very careful don't get involved in a sort of kind of like scam is kind of thing I know a lot of breeders sell a lot of dreams to other breeders were like oh you know if you get this velvet dog you'll be able to sell this dog for you know 20k 30k next year but that's.

Normally not the case and it's not the case and um it's nor it's normally like a lowkey scam and I could get into that a lot if you want me to go down the rabbit hole of that kind of thing like how breeders sort of scam each other and sell each other dreams um I can do that if you leave if you leave enough comments and tell me go down the rabbit hole go down the rabbit hole scam talk about that that thing I will so right now if you want me to do that I will and that's another reason why uh one I always prefer to to to um sell to pet homes for a lot of reasons better you know everything and then.

Two if a breer does contact me and I do approve the breeder of being able to get one of my dogs um it's a uh I never tell them hey bre b dollars you're going to make a lot of money it's like to do anything right cost a lot of money a lot of risk a lot lot of lot of effort and um it's it's not not my recommendation for that now if you love them and you want to get into that and do all that stuff and um it can pay off in in the future but that's never never my recommendation and um I think that's all about the velvet and the fluffy if you don't know what I'm talking about you can.

Du du honey honey bun bun the honey bun hone introducing the honey bun one of our Fury daughters chocolate tr mer gorgeous gorgeous little girl leah's over here messing up the set come here leah come here um the honey bun is a true mini English bulldog full grown almost a year old um and amazing good great structure great back great functionality super sweet temperament everything the best bull staple another example of what puppy that we had here that we've had since they're born and now is an adult um and um next year the honey bun will probably be bred we'll have to decide it'll be be um DaChamp depo or the DaSugarMan so we got three good one no it won't be depo.

Depo depo's are brother it'll be the DaSugarMan or DaChamp 100% or even Escobar um so let's get into that look at the honey bun she's so cute what's up honey what's up honey oh my goodness she loves leah okay so the honey bun is a Fury daughter and she is um extra extra like I don't know to say like I would say like a but she is like that leah come here leah come here play with the honey bun so she's very sweet this whole submissive thing is very good she's like normally a submissive dog very very sweet but she loves playing with leah leah leah run show the honey bun run run that way yes honey bun I I mean I sound.

Like a broken record but in um good job baby and the honey bun is not even a year old 100% full grown full full height full length but she's just going to get so much better thicker but she has a really nice straight back no let's run from her let's run from her let's run from her come on show me show show everyone that the honey bun can run run all the way to the flowers and back run to the flowers leah honey oh run le get up run get out get and see how nice she was see how good she was with her that's awesome that's super good but look at the structure look at the stance look at the head I mean that's.

That is that is right there like seeing the honey bun is like what I'm super proud of like about the best bulls like bulldogs like that uh structure and functionality are tied together 100% if a dog has a really long bad back high high hips the functionality is most likely not going to be as good and 100% in the future will decline because of of that bad that bad structure but um functionality is so important you know um and even and even then like you know if if you have good structure out functionality not means nothing right honey what are you doing hey okay.

So it's I know a lot of people like in the in the um like it was it would almost be like to me having a fast looking car that's not fast you know what I mean like good structured dog that can't move I don't know maybe probably not the best example but the honey bun is um one of my pride and joys one of my many pride and joys and something like I always talking about the best bows ranch is something we produced from from you she's like I said like I I have to look in her pedigree but probably eight or 10 times the best bowls like the DaMilkMan like DaChamp like all these dogs that we have now and um are.

Better than ever and the DaBestBulls Ranch is only getting better and better and better every day and every way that's our only goal with every breeding um and again they go back on the temperament a probably breed temperament properly bred bulldog with good temperament is this it's just going to just going to chill they're just they're just great dogs like I don't have to teach her how to come to me I have to teach her how to walk on a leash like me and honey bun can walk around the whole freaking neighborhood and I never have to put her on a leash because she's just going to listen and like that's that's her natural behavior because like being a Fury daughter that's how Fury.

Is like Fury honestly behavior-wise is my best dog ever he just and I've had a lot of dogs in my life but he's just my best dog ever behavior-wise because it's it's I have had a lot of dogs that listen um but Fury just he just wants to listen like look at this girl she's so cute Fury wants just wants to listen like he never wants to do anything bad never needs to be disciplined if he messes up it's an accident and he just he just like craves listening and being a good boy and his daughter is the same thing his his son is the same thing his offsprings and his people in his line or dogs in his line are the same thing right.

Down bun so we're going to put put the honey bun back right now but I just had to take her out to brag um and yes she is one of my favorite colors even though I say you know I don't really care about the color yes I don't care if she's white if she was white I would love her like if she was black if she was blue I would love her but being that she is the chocolate tral which I think is a very cool color um and then she has all the things before I even care about the color then you know I go care about the color it's good right honey honey let's go come on.

Honey so I'm going to go real quick into picking a stud just little tips tricks for anyone that's has a female that wants to breed um quick disclaimer make sure that you are fully prepared to breed if you're going to do that make sure you breed responsibly want 100% um and only breed for the best interest of the dog and to produce better dogs um better puppies everything like that like that I've done I've talked a lot about that so if you don't know everything what I'm saying right now go back and watch some more the best bulls episodes but picking a top stud um when you're when you're picking a a stud for a female I recommend picking the best stud possible money not.

Being money not being a um an uh a criteria in there and I understand it's like well you know I only have, 1500 it's like if you can't get the stud you want for, 1500 maybe you can get what you want, 1500 that has good health good structure good temperament good functionality all those things and you know it actually has those things then you shouldn't you shouldn't you should wait that's just all there that's all there is to it if you do have the fun see the stud that you want that has the structure fun functionality temperament health all those things that you know and are good that are going to produce good puppies then move forward that's that's my my answer to it because.

One like you're doing a disservice to bulldogs or any dog if you're breeding to a stud just just because you don't have the money to get the proper stud you're also potentially wasting a lot of time and potentially doing all kinds of things things that are um not necessary and I I don't know why because I mean like I know it's like I know I just sort of rambled right there but like in my whole my whole my whole um mindset is we should only producing puppies if they're going to be better structure better health better temperament better functionality and all four those aspects better than the mom and the dad that's our goal so if you're picking a stud because based on.

Just $1,500 or based on $1,200 or based on $4,000 or $3,000 that's not what you should be doing and that's not that's not right in my opinion and I know it sounds bad but that's just that's just a truth of the matter that's the cold heart truth and so pick a stud that's going to get you better puppies than what your dog is and what the stud is possibly that's my um thing and that's and that and that's why you know the bestbl branch we have such high standards and we like I would never produce a lit of puppies that I didn't think were going to be better than the the the parent dogs that's that is the overall goal am am I.
