Mini & Micro English Bulldog Puppies: First Bath at 10 Days Old | Newborn Puppy Care Routine

Puppy care mini and micro English bulldog puppies. Bath time care, why I do, what I do, how I do it. Um, we're going to do a little video just me have to give them a bath right now. We're going to take care of them and um watch them nurse and just talk about them right now. So, let's go. All right. So, first off, we have laney here, my daughter. Uh, she's going to be helping me take care of the puppies. And lots of times I have our our home our homemade wipes, but I don't have them right now. Anyhow, so we're going to clean the puppy's butts. Always have to clean the puppy's puppies puppy's butts. Lane's going to help. She's supposed to be sleeping.

I don't if know I already said that. Um, you see people will pee. You got to stimulate the puppy to pee and poop. And right now we're going to be doing a ba we're going to be doing bath time. L. Please not not too much. We're going to do bath time because this mom is not the best at cleaning them. And if you rub their butts dry, I mean, you rub their butts too much, not even dry, just rub their butts too much, it causes like um the the skin irritation, and we don't want that. So, look at this boy. That was so cute. What's not ready? It's okay. It's okay. It's it's it's two boys, one girl. I'm going to show you what.

I mean. Here you go. I'm going to show you what I mean by their butts and stuff. And um so, we're going to give them a bath. We're going to take care of them. Now, a lot of people like to use it's okay, babe. Relax. A lot of people like to use what's the matter?

>> a lot of people like to use like whopping boxes and stuff. I don't nec I don't normally do that. I have boxes. Um especially for the first two weeks, I don't use whopping box. I I use all my time and energy to take care of them. And the welding box is is not something I like to use. Okay. What's up? H what's the matter? You want these? What do you want? Okay. So,.

Let's go. I'm going to show the puppies real quick. Now, you see they pee and poop everywhere as soon as they get off get off. Now, if you're going to if you're going to I'm going to take a look at their their butts in a second and show you what I mean. But let's get them make sure they're they're latching on properly. This little boy is the smallest boy and he needs to make sure he doesn't get bullied off. Get him latching. So, girl, boy, boy. Hold on one second. Let me switch this now. Let me explain a little bit as I introduce the boys. So, got the little boy right here. This one's most likely going to be a micro. Staying small. Um, he's.

Actually bigger at birth, but he's just staying smaller and smaller. Uh, staying smaller than the rest. So, probably going to be a micro. Both. All these puppies come from micro mini line. So, everything here is going to be mini micro. Uh, and they're both from mini dogs. Other boy. And I already showed you the girl. Now, the reason um, and look at their butts, too. So, you'll see like the the how gross they are. I have this is the first bath they've had. They are going on. How many days old are they, elanie? Um, they are going on 10 days old. And I'm going to give them a bath. The white shows all the dirtiness, of course. And their butt, you see the butt is.

Dirty. Um, I clean them, but I don't clean them as good as the mom is. I never like the mom can lick and it's it's doesn't cause much irritation. But this mom is not cleaning them, so I have to do it. She's just doing a good job nursing. Now, the reason I'll do welding box is I we just watch them the whole time. First two weeks, the puppies are never left alone. Um, and uh, it's easier to have them out here and just have them out in the living room with us and part of the family and then they just get raised and watched and everything. Lane, what's the matter, baby? Lenny's upset. I'm on daddy dude, by the way, today. Um, I have.

To watch laney. Did not expect this, but it'll be great. Now, I was going to say something else, too. What's up, baby? Before we get into the the um giving them a bath, we use the box here with a heating pad. That's the safest way to keep puppies that don't need any type of like that are that are stable, healthy, good puppies. If a puppy has bad breathing, lungs, sickness, that's when you get into incubators in my opinion. What's up, baby? What do you want? Huh, lane? What's the matter? Do you want a toy or something? Laney's still tired. That's that's the thing. Look at my.

He's tired. This is part of of bulldog life. You're you have to um [clears throat] with the bulldogs don't I mean the babies obviously don't give you a break. Bulldogs don't give you a break. Puppies don't give you a break and um I can't let my b I can't I can't neglect her obviously and then I can't wait, you know, an extra hour or two hours for the puppies because they're young. I want to make sure they stay as healthy as possible. So that's what I'm doing right now. We're going to get into feeding the puppies right now. I mean to bathing bathing the puppies now. Right as soon as they get they get nurse, we'll let them sit for a second. They're pooping as we.

Do now. I'm also going to give them some uh probiotics that are good for their good for their their digestive system and their belly because sometimes it'll helps so they don't get diarrhea and uh just makes their immunity stronger. So, I'm going to do that right now and I'm going to clap. I'm go right to it. All right. So,.

I think that's it's a bit wait 16 cc. See this? This looks pretty good. Come on. Come on. It's okay. Uh-uh. Good job, baby. Good job. Let's go get that thing. I was going to put a little safe there you go. Let's get some special potion.

I'm back. Dropped my baby. Lane's good. Um, all right. So, I had to mix up some more of our probiotic gut health thing for them. We're going to clean some butts as they're as they're as they're um eating their pooping and peeing, especially since I stimulated them. So they'll start to do both. They'll pee too. Lenny will go play, which is great.

But what I was saying too with the with the with the cleaning thing is that you can never clean as good as the mom. If the mom's going to going to do that, it's the best thing possible. She doesn't want like to clean. It's her first time being a mom. Her next time she'll be a lot better. I can tell you that much right now. And then so I mix up this. It's a probiotic. Do a video on telling which one. But I'm not getting sponsored by these people, so no real point. But I do a a probiotic. I mine are are pills. So I grind them up and make it into a um form that's good for the puppies and it's easier for me actually to control um.

Control uh how much I give them and stuff and based on the pill. And so I give him about a two ten of a te of a cc when they're ready and just put it in their mouth. I do the the fingertip method to feed them. Now, we're gonna do this in a second and then we're going to get to we're going to get to um to bathing the puppies. We're going to dry them. I'm going to give all the t I'm I'm going to I'm going to talk about.

We got to find we got to find laney one of the struggles of taking care of your baby. Oh, there's what are you doing, baby? Are you good? All right, lane's playing. Okay, family life and puppy life. All right, so show the puppy. But look at these puppies. They are DaMilkMan puppies. DaMilkMan. No, they are not DaMilkMan. They are Fury babies. Sorry. These are Fury puppies bred to a DaMilkMan daughter. So, it's Fury DaMilkMan. Absolutely gorgeous. We're going to be doing we're going to do the bathing. Talk about why I'm bathing them, how I'm bathing them, the reasons why I do what I do to keep them safe and do all that stuff. Just quick little bath, make a nice show the difference. They have like.

A little yellow tint tint to their fur. One, because of dirtiness, and two, because they're born dirty because they have it all over. Now they're better, and hopefully after today, they'll be real nice and white. So, we're going to do that. And we're waiting for the.

Supplement um the digestive probiotic to um cool and we're going to get to work. Guess we're going to give this puppy some of the stuff. So, fingertip method. Show you right here. Fingertip method. Get him stuck on my finger. Put it right on the edge. And then just get him. He doesn't really like it much, so I don't want to force him because I don't want him to aspirate. But let's see. See if we can get him to like like it. The other little boy liked it. Just fed him. Should have did him. Yeah. Oh, he's good. But he's getting it down, which is good. This is good for their gut health. Helps them helps them. He didn't like it. Helps him absorb nutrients better.

Oh, boy. So cute, though. All right, go back to go back to nursing. We do that the rest of them. Then we're going to take them for a bath. We'll let him sit for like 5 minutes before the bath, too. Want to check the milk production, which is awesome. Look at that. Not squeezing hard at all. Milk's coming out, dripping out. This one might even squirt. It does sometimes. Yeah. Really, really good. Not squeezing hard at all. Good milk production for the babies. You on there are sometimes they'll just suck onto a skin. So you got to make sure.

So first we're going to try to get laney happier. Just heated up some bread. Homemade sourdough bread. Don't worry, I did wash my hands. Some grass-fed butter. Just like with my dogs, I'm I try to be like health freakish but not crazy. Um the kids are the same way.

So, this is I don't really feed them bread, but this is um homemade sourdough, so it's good. She wants it with some grass-fed butter. And um try to get her happy. She did not wake up sleep. So, really, lane's supposed to be napping and I'm supposed to be doing my work and doing this video for you, but she's not napping. All right, so let's get the first puppy and let's get cleaning. Here we go. First lucky one is going to be the little boy. Here we go. Let's go. I'm holding the baby,.

The puppy, the camera, and I'm doing everything right. Okay, so let's put baby down first. Actually, camera down first right here. Baby down second. We're going to clean this off. So, things that we need, puppy, blow dryer, and this is some homemade um homemade uh like organic soap that sarah makes. I don't even know what's I mean, I do know what's in it, but if you want that, we'll have to do a video for that, too. Okay, so we're good to go. I'm going to squat down. Get this meal going. I mean, get this um water going. Lane, not yet. Eat your food. Want to be warm but not too warm.

And I don't when they're this young I do not put any any water on the puppy's heads neck down. I write I hand wash the face. You do not want to get water in their ears cause infection. But more importantly, you don't want them to inhale water and aspirate. That's very dangerous. Right, laney?

Right. Good job. All right. Well, it's warm. Just going to rinse off. First time puppy's ever gotten a bath. And laney loves the puppies. I know there's some videos if you haven't seen like of laney kissing the puppy. She loves to kiss him. People say it's gross because puppy's probably not the cleanest thing, but she wants to kiss him and we let it happen, right? Laney loves wire, too. So, this is great. All right. And also too, um this is going to help stimulate being and pooping. I want to make sure the good news is too that my I don't have pocket tails. That's a genetic thing. And um so I don't have to worry about like getting in the pocket, but I just lift.

Up the tail, clean, clean the belly, clean the feet. Keeping the feet clean is so important because the puppies will infect each other actually and um put the the nails, dirty nails into each other's eyes and cause infections. So try to do that. It's a little bit too warm now. Always check. Look at this little boy. He's so cute. He has a pretty long fur, too. All right. So,.

No water neck down. I hold him up. The water starts here. So, it doesn't even go down their face. So, there's no chance of aspiration or anything like that. And he's still a little yellowish. Not because he's just the the fur is stained that way just from being in the womb. Um, and the dirtiness and the pee and poop from peeing and pooping in the sack. So, that's why got a little yellow tint to it. Clean the butt. Most important thing. Feet.

That's a wrap for this boy. Just to keep everything right here. It's going to be easier. And take a towel here because laney again. I was not expecting to have laney not know I had to watch her today. Um, but we're missing leah. Okay, so just a little bit light rubbing. I do just to get the main water off. And then I'm going to blow dry for the majority of it because a blow dry is safer. And um gets them nice and nice and dry.

Just rub the feet. You can't really dry them that good. I'll put on in a second, baby. You can't dry them that good because of the um can't really like pressure hard when you're drying with a towel, but it's why we blow dry. Now, in the blow drying, always keep your hand on on in the way or like involved in the um the air so you make sure it's not too.

Not too um hot. Blow dryer. Lane might get scared. Lane, this is not bad. Okay, watch this. Good job, baby. Look it. Nice blow drying. My hand is right on the puppy. Like the air is touching my hand too. So if it was hurt, if it was any type of extra like too hot for me, I would know.

Safe that way. All right, puppy's getting nice and dry. And just so you know too, like if the mom was a good cleaner, the puppies would get pretty much completely soaked by mom saliva licking them every day like that. Mom will like soak them sometimes. So this is good.

I mean it's not this is not bad for them. Just drying them. All right. And you can see too still a little bit a yellow tint to the boy. That's not really what I'm concerned about. That'll go away. I'm just concerned about him staying clean and.

Oh my god, you're so cute. Where's my phone, laney? I need a phone. I need to take a picture. This is this is so cute, though. All right, step our puppy one done. The little boy. This is the blue boy. Blue pi, blue little ear, blue spot, blue butt. But it's a lot cleaner.

No infection here. Couple things I always do, and I'm sharing this because I just share like how we do the puppies and everything. Everything's done, you know, hands-on, family raised puppies. But don't touch baby. It's it's dirty. Um, but I don't I'm not an advocate advocator for breeding dogs. It's a lot of work, a lot of time, a lot of energy. If you want to do it, do it obviously. But don't just I don't I don't ever promote anyone doing it. Takes a lot of, you know, education, everything. But uh the the everything is we're the things I always look at in every puppy when I pick them up. The eyes even though the eyes are closed they can get infected. They'll swell. Eyes are.

Perfect. But make sure it's not infect infected. That's the place infected the most cuz poop sits there causing infection. And then the belly. Look at that belly. These eyes are going to open up soon, too, which is pretty cool. Probably a couple days. All right. On to the next boy. Um we'll do the girl. We'll do the blue girl next. And then we'll do the the the tiny butt boy. All right. Here we l, you're being so good.

We're back. The girl thick girl, too. All right. Same warm water. Soap. Clean the butt, the feet. Keep the puppy head above the the water. All times keep the puppy's head above the impact of the wire. So the the the impact is at the butt. Head above the butt and you're good. That's what I meant. L don't get dirty or don't get wet. Not dirty. All right.

Put on the puppy. Put on the butt. The feet. Also too, like I'm not touching the puppy's face, but on that no tear soap, it still burns eyes. Just so you know, I put I put all the all those I've tried all of them. They all good. Not all of them, but I've tried most of them. And it's called not it's not not called no burn, it's called no tear, which doesn't make sense to me. But that's a little word of advice for anyone. Um let know no. Um.

Clean their babies with eyes open. Do not put that stuff in their eyes. It burns. All right. So, we're clean. Rinse off real quick. Too cold now. Hear the puppy screaming. Puppy did not like the cold. Um, this puppy's a a baby, too. Anyway, like she she's the highest maintenance of all of them. There we go. But she stopped. So, really, that cold water is just it. She cried as soon as that cold water touched her. That was not cool. She was like, "that's not cool. She said, "that's not cool." all right, butts clean.

Let's get the towel. Laney's helping out. Caught it with my foot just get nice and dried off. Now, the puppies, uh, I I am leaving the puppies alone with the mom. They're in the middle of the force, so they really can't like it's not they're not going. And the only thing that she's against the couch, it has an under thing. So if she leaned against the puppies, puppy would go like slit under the couch and wouldn't crush them. But it's been 10 days now. She's been amazing uh with the puppies and I'm pretty confident. I'm also right here checking on them every couple of minutes. And if I heard anything, I would immediately stop what I'm doing right now and go. But I'm very very.

Careful. Don't touch that baby. Yucky. It's yucky. I'm very very careful with the with the um with the puppies or the mom. Just takes one mistake and you could lose puppies. All that that being said too, this different different topic, but I know a lot of times people have mocked me or clowned me for for um for cleaning the puppies in my sink, but what do you think about that? Cleaning puppies in the sink. Puppies are my life. On top of that, that's why there's cleaners. Like, I sanitize the sink before I clean the puppies. I sanitize the sink after I clean the puppies. It's not like there's not sanitation tools, you know.

Laney, be careful, baby. It's okay, baby. It's okay. It's not a big deal. It's no big deal. I'm just playing with you. It's okay. It's okay. I'll fix it. Let's fix that for lane. Lane, don't just don't do that again so it doesn't it's okay, babe. Okay.

All better. Yay. Gorgeous little girl. Right, laney? Yay. All right, let's go with the tiny little boy. And um that's a wrap for for taking care of the puppies. We're back. Put laney right here. [sighs] good job, lane. Baby boy boy right here. And let's get to work. This boy, if you ha, if you have been following, especially on the on the tube, um, this was the boy that was the weakest at birth. And not even the weakest, he was just, uh, not breeding the best at birth, which is very common. Sometimes the puppies take a second to get going and whatever. And any little hiccup at birth, you have to watch out for because it could be nothing. It just them getting going at.

Birth. Or it could be a sign of some other little problem you have to watch out for. And um but with him, it was nothing. It was it was literally just he was a little slower to to get going by a couple minutes and I was extra worried. I not extra worried. Is a little slightly worried about them because any little thing when they're younger can result into something really big. Like for example, if he had was getting a little he was a little bit slower to get going the first 10 minutes of birth, if that meant there's a bunch of water in his lungs, we had to solve that problem. He's not liking this. >> okay. Sorry, buddy. He's not liking this. I'm sorry,.

Buddy. We'll get you we'll get you cleaned up. Lenny's saying baba. She's looking out the window right now. Baba. >> baba. You see baba out there. >> all right. Just going to get this boy cleaned up. Butt nice and clean. Also too, bathing the puppies. It's a great time to just put more hands on the puppies. Like I'm really feeling every inch of this boy. Making sure there's no problem. Nothing. Let you know. Let you know. Oh, that's your butt bed. Okay. Yes. Sorry. Yes. So, it's a good time to really like feel. I'm really feeling the chest. Ah.

No, no, baby. I'll get you new bread. Okay, this bread done toast. No more bread because you can't in the water. All right, there we go. It's a little bit hot. Trying to get a perfect it's okay, babe. Flip them over. I don't know if you you can tell, but this boy is a lot smaller. It's okay.

Than the other two. >> probably like, >> let's say 40% smaller. >> okay, here we go. Dry them off. Blow dry them off. And then we got all the puppies. Clean. We cleaned all the puppies. Baby give kisses. Give puppy kisses. No. Very gently wiping the puppy off.

We're going to blow dry him now. Warm him back up. That's another reason why I like blowd drying, too. Gets them warm really quick. It's okay. Okay, everyone's safe. All babies are safe. Okay, so here. New towel. Baby, come here. Come, daddy. Come, let's go. Want to kiss the puppy? Pet the puppy.

Oh, look at there's baba. What's up, baba? He's watching all right, so puppies are clean. We're going to change the towel cuz the puppies nurse a bit little more. That's other boy. Let's get this towel out. Let's put this boy down. The thing is when you um when they uh.

Let me put them back in the the tubers when they uh are nursing they pee and poop and then I clean up the poop as they pee poop and then or and it goes so they don't walk through it and it smeared all over theirself but it still smears all over the towel. So we're going to take this towel from oh, sorry. Uh, lee, don't do anything yet. Okay. Sorry. Get this real quick. She's fine. She just thinks taking her babies. I'm.

Here we go. Normally, I put the towel down first. Okay. Here. Come on. Let's do this. Let's lay her down. Let's do dog jiu-jitsu, which is where take the back leg, pull it down. Take the other other leg, pull it across. She's so easy to deal with. Elley. H. Don't let the camera up. Take this and go here. And now we're good. Look at that. She gets to lay on nice clean towel.

Fresh towel. Go back to sleep. Okay. Look at here we go. Let's turn this right here so you can see her. Okay, lane. Ah, no. Baby, don't touch it. Let's take the puppies out. Ah, lane. No, please. Lane's messing with the thing. All right, here we go. I'm trying to get you guys,.

Baby. She cleans them a little bit. Okay, I'm not going to say she's the worst mom, but she's definitely not the best mom. >> no, she's not even close to the the worst. A little boy. Get him nurse him. >> you want to nurse, boy? Nurse. Okay. [snorts] and then last but not least, the beautiful girl.

Hey, nurse. Put some milk on the thing. You nurse? He's just probably annoyed or in a little bit slight little bit shocked that I I I put him in through a bath. He's like, "why would you do that to me?" but here we go. Puppies are good. So, they're clean.

You still see a tint of yellow to them. Look at this square boy. You sucking, dry them off a little. They could be [snorts] a little bit wet. They're still this boy is so stinking cute. I didn't mean to turn it off. I meant to flip the thing.

Come on. There we go. There we go. There we go. He's just being lazy. Got him sucking. Sucking. Everyone's everyone's clean. See, it looks like he's even dirty like yellow, but it's not. That's I cleaned him. But like I said, the fur is going to that stained fur is going to have to fall out. How the white ones come at birth.
