Dog Nail Clipping, Hygiene, cutting your pups long nails safely, grooming tips

Welcome to the DaBestBulls Ranch right now I'm going to go over nail cutting how to trim the dog's nails I know there's a couple different ways I use this way I'm also going to be putting out another video so make sure you stay tuned on a couple other ways to cut the nails especially the problem dogs the ones that don't want to stay still but check out how we're doing it right now.

I get these these are nail clippers I use there's some dremel tools uh they're probably a little bit better for beginners because you need less room for error these ones cut so if you do get up the q the the the the cuticles or whatever they call too much you will cause them to bleed now depending on on your dog's activity level depending on the surface they they go on we'll we'll dictate how often you need to cut their nails now Fury he runs around a lot he's a very active dog so I haven't cut his nails in like like very rarely you see how nails are great I would not cut them there's only a tiny bit of white there if you would cut.

That it would probably bleed and if you cut even a little bit more you would bleed now if you do cut too much and the dog starts cleaning they actually will bleed a lot um and don't get nervous just you just take cinnamon and you just second put on a cloth or wet cloth and damp it on there and he puts them on the end where it's bleeding and he'll actually stop it now only part I'm going to cut on inferior is dewclaw area where that can get long as it doesn't get worn and if it gets caught it can cause it can hurt him so here he stops something's gonna come and cut right basically uh right where like the the tip is.

You know but I'll show you the other one uh there's a point and I only cut the point because if you cut past that point like past there you cut into the red or the pink area and he'll bleed and I just cut this so it doesn't get too long so it doesn't get caught on anything right where the tip is that's.

And now it's good and he doesn't need much upkeeping his nails because like I said he's such an athletic dog and a and a um and on top of that he just he gets a lot of exercise he has a huge area to run in he has concrete to run on and that wears down the nails naturally which is the best thing you know and honestly to me to be honest the only time I really see dogs that need their their nails cut a lot are dogs that are kept in a crate.

A lot and that's and that shouldn't be the case you know these dogs should be getting great he's still shedding we just gave him the bath but that's um all Fury just needs his dew claws cut um because if that gets long it's caught on something can hurt him and that's all that's all with him some dogs like I said in on on top of if they're not just kept in the cage if they are only on very soft um forgiving floor they will their nails will not get worn down and then they will they'll um need a cut so but he runs outside grass rock and concrete everything and he's good he's getting worn down right boy so he doesn't really need much just a.
