The short answer
The internet says 8 to 10 years. I think that's false: all of mine have always lived longer than that.
If you get a properly bred, healthy, functional, good-structured bulldog from a good breeder, you're looking at a minimum of 10 years, most likely in the 12 to 13 year range. How long your bulldog lives depends most on the line it comes from, then on how you feed it, exercise it and keep the weight off.
The lifespan of a bulldog is going to be 10-plus years, 10 to 12 years, if you get from a properly bred line of bulldogs, from a good breeder.

It's extremely relative to the breeder and the program you get from, and to how healthy the parents are. That directly affects your puppy's health and life.

As far as aging goes: if your dog comes from good lines, and you feed it properly, exercise it properly and don't let it get overweight, you're looking at a very slow progression of aging.

All these answers are relative. My biggest advice: save yourself a lot of headache, heartache and problems by getting the best, healthiest line of bulldog you possibly can.
