Should I Get One Bulldog or Two?
The short answer
Either works. Bulldogs are companion dogs: if you have the time to be with your dog, one is great. If you're away a lot, I recommend two or more, so they have a friend.
It only works if they come from lines bred for good temperament: not dog aggressive, not people aggressive. Ours are all unneutered males, and they get along.
Either one, but here's how to decide
Obviously I'm a two-plus guy, and that's what we prefer. We breed specifically for temperament, so our dogs are good-tempered, not dog aggressive, not people aggressive, and great family pets. That's very important if you want two or more.
Look at them: all boys, unneutered, getting along amazingly. That's a testament to DaBestBulls temperament.
My answer: either works. If you have the time for your dog's needs, because they're companion dogs, you're great with one. If you're away a lot, I definitely recommend two or more so they have a friend. And even if you're home a lot, they'll be great together.
